Cleobury Mortimer based renewable energy company EZsolar which was founded by director Andy Perkins in 2003 has experienced such year on year growth that it has left its old premises in Talbot Square and has moved into a purpose built 48,000 sq ft premises on the New House Farm Industrial Estate on the Tenbury Road. EZsolar which now employs 14 staff provides renewable heat and power solutions to both domestic and commercial customers.
The new building has a single pitch south facing roof on which the company has installed 20kWp solar PV panels which produce 75% of the electricity used on site including recharging Andy’s hybrid-electric car with the surplus on summer days exported to the grid.
“We try to practice what we preach in terms of keeping our energy use as low as we can and what we have to use, we try to generate ourselves 100%. It also helps out clients if we know first-hand what we are preaching about.”
